The abstract, paper, and presentation will be published in the associated CUG Proceedings. Conference attendees will have authenticated access to the CUG Program and Proceedings shortly after the associated conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors may appropriately mark abstracts, papers and presentations that contain time-sensitive and\/or proprietary material. In the absence of such markings, the abstracts, paper, and presentation will be published online and made publicly available approximately six months after the conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Best Paper and Runner Up Award<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the CUG Conference General Session CUG will recognize the conference\u2019s <\/span><b>Best Paper and Runner up<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. To be eligible, papers must be submitted in electronic format in accordance with the deadline listed in the call for papers. Late papers will not be considered for the Best Paper and Runner Up Award.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Guidelines for Papers<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The suggested paper size is 7,000 words or less. This is equivalent to <\/span><b>approximately 15 pages<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including all figures, tables, references, and appendices.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Template<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Cray User Group has adopted the ACM Style Guide for all published papers:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.overleaf.com\/latex\/templates\/acm-conference-proceedings-primary-article-template\/wbvnghjbzwpc\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACM Conference Template LaTeX overleaf<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acm.org\/publications\/proceedings-template\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACM two-column Templates for Conference Proceedings<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use the double column 8.5<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2033<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> x 11<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2033<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> format. Papers must be submitted in PDF format.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>AI Generated Text<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CUG permits the use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, or other AI assistants) to help improve the submission text. Authors should verify whether the results are accurate before submission. Authors are completely accountable for the contents of their papers, including content generated by AI tools that could be interpreted as plagiarism or scientific misconduct (e.g., fabrication of facts). AI tools are not eligible for authorship. <\/span><b>The use of any AI-generated text must be disclosed in the acknowledgments section. If you use AI tools, you should include an acknowledgment section to disclose the AI assistance with appropriate references to the sections in the paper<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>How to submit?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Submission System is available from the Opening Date for Submissions through the last day of each CUG Conference. During that time, the capabilities available to Authors will change to reflect existing deadlines. There will be specific windows of time for Submissions, Paper and Presentation Upload, and Paper and Presentation Updates. <\/span><b>All submissions should be made through the <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/ssl.linklings.net\/conferences\/cug\"><b>CUG Conference Submission System<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Authors must create an account in the submission system to manage their submission materials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <b>Selected Papers for ACM Digital Library within its International Conference Proceedings Series<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACM will publish the proceedings of CUG 2025 in the ACM Digital Library within its International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Papers submitted by the due date will be reviewed for the proceedings. Note that publication in the proceedings may require an additional round of reviews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Important note to authors about the new ACM open access publishing model<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACM has introduced a new open access publishing model for the International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Authors based at institutions that are not yet part of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/libraries.acm.org\/acmopen\/open-participants\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACM Open program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and do not qualify for a waiver will be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to publish their ICPS article in the ACM Digital Library.
